In July 2025, the crude steel output in Africa reached 1.9 million tons, showing a year-on-year decline of 2.0%. In Asia and Oceania, the crude steel output amounted to 110.4 million tons, registering a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%. The crude steel output of the European Union (27 member states) was 10.2 million tons, representing a year-on-year decline of 7.0%. The crude steel output of other European countries was 3.6 million tons, indicating a year-on-year increase of 2.6%. The crude steel output in the Middle East was 4.4 million tons, showing a year-on-year growth of 27.7%. In North America, the crude steel output was 9.4 million tons, with a year-on-year increase of 5.8%. The crude steel output of Russia, other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, and Ukraine totaled 6.7 million tons, showing a year-on-year decrease of 5.1%. In South America, the crude steel output was 3.6 million tons, experiencing a year-on-year decline of 4.5%.
